The disadvantage of this type of implant is that they are more complicated to place and do not adapt to the patient's movement, so due to certain movements they can change their shape and, therefore, their appearance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What it allows is that they adapt to movement, changing their shape if the patient is standing or sitting, for example. Most of the breast implants that are placed after breast surgery are filled with silicone<\/strong>. It is the closest material in terms of texture, shape and anatomy to human fat. This makes it the material of choice par excellence for padding the chest and cause the size of the breasts to be increased or lifted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another great advantage offered by silicone-filled implants is that, even if the exterior of the prosthesis breaks, the content does not spill. In addition, they are biocompatible, so it is very unlikely that the patient's body will reject them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This type of prosthesis is applied empty and then, once placed on the chest, it is filled with saline solution. This also has the advantage that, if it breaks, the liquid is reabsorbed by the body itself and there are no problems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
